Projekt polega na utworzeniu CB+R, w którym prowadzone będą badania obejmujące nowoczesną diagnostykę i leczenie w dziedzinie okulistyki. Zakłada się budowę nowego obiektu oraz wyposażenie go w niezbędną aparaturę i sprzęt umożliwiający prowadzenie prac B+R. Wnioskodawca zmodyfikuje laboratoryjny aparat STOC w celu stworzenia prototypu urządzenia oraz opracowanie technik obrazowania oka w warunkach klinicznych. Przedmiotem projektu będzie opracowanie nowatorskich metod diagnostyki obrazowania oraz udoskonalonych algorytmów postępowania, których wyniki przyczynią się do świadczenia innowacyjnych usług medycznych w okulistyce. Po raz pierwszy na świecie Wnioskodawca wykorzysta technologię STOC do wizualizowania śródbłonka rogówki oraz do oceny z dużą rozdzielczością, bez szumu plamkowego, komórek warstwy barwnikowej siatkówki i szczegółów struktury naczyniówki. Otworzy to nowe możliwości diagnostyki obrazowej w okulistyce, poprawiając możliwości i efektywność procesów diagnostycznych. (Polish)

The applicant will modify the laboratory system of the STOC in order to produce a machine prototype and the development of eye imaging techniques in a clinical environment.The project will focus on the development of novel diagnostic methods for imaging and improved algorithms of behaviour, the results of which will contribute to the provision of innovative medical services in ophthalmology.For the first time in the world, the applicant will use STOC technology to visualise the endothelial visualisation of the cornea and to assess with a high resolution, without the spots, the cell layer of the retinal colour layer and details of the vascular structure.This will open new diagnostics in ophthalmology, improving the possibilities and efficiency of diagnostic processes.
