Głównym elementem czwartej rewolucji przemysłowej w branży opakowań kartonowych jest uruchomienie druku cyfrowego w jakości na poziomie klasycznego druku offsetowego. Druk w technologii cyfrowej pozwala na ominięcie dotychczasowych ograniczeń druku, w szczególności opłacalny staje się druk bardzo małych serii opakowań. Dodatkowo każde z opakowań w serii może mieć inną grafikę - jej zmiany odbywają się bez przerywania produkcji. Możliwa staje się produkcja dokładnej, niewielkiej liczby opakowań w szybkim terminie z dostawą just-in-time do odbiorcy. Rewolucja polega na produkcji w sposób szybszy, tańszy, w dobrej jakości a do tego z niespotykaną na polskim rynku i rzadką na świecie wartością dodaną. W ramach projektu nastąpi: a) wprowadzenie nowego procesu technologicznego, b) wprowadzenie na rynek nowych produktów i usług, c) poszerzenie docelowej grupy klientów i znaczne geograficzne zwiększenie zasięgu. Będzie to pierwszy krok Spółki w realizacji idei Przemysłu 4.0. (Polish)

The main element of the fourth industrial revolution in the carton packaging sector is the launch of digital printing in quality at the level of classical offset printing. Printing in the digital technology allows to bypass the existing print restrictions, in particular the cost-effective printing of very small series of packages. In addition, each of the packages in the series may have a different image, with changes taking place without any interruption in production. It is possible to produce a precise, small number of spot packages with just-in-time delivery to the customer. The revolution is faster, cheaper, of good quality and of unprecedented value in the Polish market and a less than ever added value in the world. The project will include: (a) the introduction of a new technological process, (b) the placing on the market of new products and services, (c) the widening of the target group of customers and the significant geographical extension. This will be the Company’s first step in the implementation of Industry 4.0. (English)
