Przedmiotem projektu jest budowa I etapu drogi o przekroju 2x2, która będzie stanowiła nowy ślad drogi wojewódzkiej nr 935 na odcinku przebiegającym przez Miasto Rybnik i tworzyła jego południową obwodnicę. Z uwagi na konieczność włączenia planowanej drogi do istniejącego układu drogowego niewielki fragment drogi (ok.425 m) będzie zlokalizowany na terenie Miasta Żory. Etap I obejmuje odcinek od ronda Raciborskiego na tzw. północnej obwodnicy Żor do skrzyżowania z ul.Wodzisławską (DK 78) w Rybniku - w sumie 10,221 km. W ramach inwestycji zostanie wybudowanych 5 bezkolizyjnych węzłów, komunikujących nową arterię z dotychczasowym układem drogowym oraz 13 obiektów mostowych na kolizjach z drogami, torami kolejowymi i rzekami. Podstawowym celem projektu jest umożliwienie szybkiego i bezpiecznego dojazdu do autostrady A1 będącej częścią korytarza sieci TEN-T. (Polish)

The project consists of the construction of stage I of a road with a cross-section of 2x2, which will be a new trace of provincial road No 935 along the stretch of the city of Rybnik and formed part of its southern bypass. In view of the need to integrate the planned road into the existing road system, a small part of the road (ok.425 m) will be located in the City of Żory. Phase I covers the section from the roundabout to the so called Northern bypass of Żor to the junction with ul. WHour (DK 78) in Rybnik for a total of 10.221 km. As part of the investment, 5 non-connecting nodes will be built, communicating a new arteriography with the existing road system, and 13 bridge structures for collisions with roads, railways and rivers. The main objective of the project is to allow a quick and safe access to the A1 motorway which is part of the TEN-T network corridor. (English)
