Przedmiotem projektu jest zakup średniego samochodu ratowniczo – gaśniczego dla OSP Knurów. OSP Knurów jest włączona do Krajowego Systemu Ratowniczo-Gaśniczego. Zakup nowego samochodu ratowniczo – gaśniczego pozwoli zatem na zwiększenie potencjału technicznego jednostek wchodzących w skład KSRG. Zgodnie z aktualnymi wytycznymi KSRG wóz w czynnej służbie nie powinien być starszy niż 30 lat. Oznacza to, że OSP w Knurowie nie dysponuje żadnym samochodem ratowniczo – gaśniczym spełniającym obowiązujące wytyczne i zalecenia. Obecnie eksploatowany z braku alternatywy ciężki wóz ratowniczo-gaśniczy ma 42 lata. (Polish)

The purchase of a new car for rescue — firefighting, therefore will make it possible to increase the technical capacity of the units forming part of the KSRG. According to the updated KSRG guidelines, the active service should not be older than 30 years. This means that the TSOs in the Knurów do not have any car which satisfies the applicable guidelines and recommendations. Currently in the absence of an alternative, the heavy rescue and firefighting truck is 42 years old. (English)
