V roce 2015 byl Zastupitelstvem města Vsetín přijat Komunitní plán péče a sociálních služeb ORP Vsetín na období 2015 - 2020 (KPP). V současné době je nutná jeho aktualizace a revize procesu komunitního plánování (KP). Hlavním cílem projektu je aktualizace KPP z důvodu umožnění novým SSL začlenit se do Sítě sociálních služeb Zlínského kraje, druhým cílem je zrevidovat proces KP a zapojit do něj představitele samospráv menších obcí v ORP Vsetín, kteří se budou spolupodílet na financování SSL.
