As part of the project, the strategy of the Association of the Podhale Functional Area for 2021 2027 will be developed. It will consist of diagnostic planning documentation and will respond to the identified needs and problems of the area covered by the study.The strategy will also focus on exploiting the development potential of a given area to achieve the intended objectives.The developed document will define the target projects in the territorial dimension.The Association consists of 13 local government units and consists of: Novotarski District and Tatra County, Nowy Targ City, Zakopane City and municipalities from Tatra County and Nowotarski District: Municipality of Biały Dunajec, Municipality of Bukowina Tatrzańska, Municipality Kościelisko, Municipality of Poronin, Municipality Czarny Dunajec, Municipality Łapsze Nizne, Municipality Nowy Targ, Municipality Rabka Zdrój and Municipality Szaflary. W ramach projektu opracowana zostanie strategia ZIT Stowarzyszenia Podhalański Obszar Funkcjonalny na lata 2021 2027. Składać będzie się zdokumentacji diagnostyczno planistycznej oraz stanowić będzie odpowiedź na zidentyfikowane potrzeby i problemy obszaru objętego opracowaniem.Strategia ukierunkowana będzie również na wykorzystanie potencjałów rozwojowych danego obszaru dla osiągnięcia zamierzonych celów.Opracowany dokument będzie definiował docelowe projekty w wymiarze terytorialnym.W skład Stowarzyszenia wchodzi 13 jednostek samorządu terytorialnego i tworzą je: Powiat Nowotarski i Powiat Tatrzański, Miasto Nowy Targ, Miasto Zakopane oraz gminy z obszaru Powiatu Tatrzańskiego i Powiatu Nowotarskiego: Gmina Biały Dunajec, Gmina Bukowina Tatrzańska, Gmina Kościelisko, Gmina Poronin, Gmina Czarny Dunajec, Gmina Łapsze Niżne, Gmina Nowy Targ, Gmina Rabka Zdrój i Gmina Szaflary.
