Property / summary

In connection with the Low-Emission Economy Plan for Lubianka Municipality, the Applicant has developed a project “Expansion of district road No 2005C through the construction of a bicycle road on the Łubianka — Bierzgłowski Castle section”. The project, which is the subject of the application for funding, concerns the construction of a bicycle road with a length of 1062 meters in the town of Łubianka and Bierzgłowski Castle. The investment, due to its location in the road lane of the district road, will be carried out in partnership with the Toruń District, which will take over the infrastructure of the new bicycle sewage after the completion of the investment. Within the framework of the project, the following actions are planned:• construction of a 2.5 m wide bicycle road,• reconstruction of existing individual exits,• construction of an optimal mixside,• renovation of the front wall of the culvert over the Papowska Mała Strug in order to build an element of the bridge industry on which the bicycle path will be locatedIn the framework of the construction of the bicycle road, a permanent traffic organisation project will also be developed. The project will achieve the main objective of the Low-Emission Economy Plan, i.e. the reduction of greenhouse gases to the atmosphere, in particular CO2. According to the provisions of the application for co-financed CO2 emission reductions during the year will reach 1.72 Mg of CO2 during the year. In addition to the impact on improving the quality of the natural environment, the investment will also increase the safety of movement along the district road and in its surroundings, as it will lead to a direct environment of public facilities such as a kindergarten, children’s club for children up to 3 years old and a rural common room in Bierzgłowski Castle. It will also be a safe access to one of the biggest tourist attractions of the Lubianka Commune, i.e. the Teutonic castle in the town of Bierzgłowski Castle. (English)
