Active seniors in the High Mazowieckie Commune
Property / summary | |||||||||||||||
The project aims to support and activate seniors — care, support and activation activities for those in need in the local community of the High Mazowieckie commune, by increasing the number of places in the existing Senior Club. The project will help to counter the exclusion, loneliness and marginalisation of the elderly. The implementation of the project will increase the number of places in KS, expand the offer of classes and increase access to classes, activities, events, thus contributing to counteracting the growing dependency, inefficiency of seniors. The functioning of the KS within the project is a response to the need for a meeting place for older people who, due to many factors, including age, disability or health, are people requiring care and/or support. Taking action directed at seniors is necessary due to the diagnosed, existing needs. Older people face problems: loneliness, illness, disability, sense of uselessness, dependency, low social and life activity. The project will support 38 people (31K and 7M) over the age of 55 living in the commune of Wysokie Mazowieckie (area covered by LSR actions of the LSR Brama in Podlasie), at risk of poverty or social exclusion. Tasks carried out in the project: activities addressed to people in need of support through the use of leisure time, development of skills and interests, increasing the participation of 55+ people in society, pro-health activities, physical culture classes, specialist counselling. For the purpose of the project, an informal partnership was concluded with the Voluntary Fire Service in Rus Stara. The partner participated in the preparation of the grant application, and co-created the diagnosis. (English)

Zadania realizowane w projekcie: działania skierowane do osób potrzebujących wsparcia poprzez zagospodarowanie czasu wolnego, rozwój umiejętności i zaintersowań, zwiększenie uczestnictwa osób 55+ w życiu społecznym, działalność prozdrowotną, zajęcia z zakresu kultury fizycznej, poradnictwo specjalistyczne. Na potrzeby realizacji projektu zostało zawarte partnerstwo nieformalne z Ochotniczą Strażą Pożarną w Rusi Starej. Partner uczestniczył w opracowywaniu wniosku o dofinansowanie, i współtworzył diagnozę. (Polish)
