Preparation of the recipe and carrying out laboratory and production tests of compound feed intended for the final phase of cattle fattening based on by-products of the food industry.
Property / summary

SA.60012(2020/X) Preparation of the recipe and carrying out laboratory and production tests of compound feed intended for the final phase of cattle fattening based on by-products of the food industry. New features of the developed product are: 1. the use of by-products of the food industry, i.e. biscuit crowbar, mechanically damaged products from the production of biscuits and sweets, cocoa husk, peanut, which will be used for the production of complete-content mixtures, i.e. a complete mixture for fattening in the final phase of fattening (last 60-120 days of fattening) in order to improve their fattening value (increase), slaughter (fatty) and meat quality (marble). 2. the use of thermally processed non-structural carbohydrates (starch), in the form of by-products of the food industry reducing the use of expensive and potentially applicable to human nutrition of cereal components; 3. development of a form of mixture that hinders the segregation of the components given in the mixture (e.g. pelleting). This project will develop the following products: complete mix for finishing bulls; complete mixture for finishing heifers; Key new functionalities are: improvement of production results (daily growths) and sensory values of feed, improvement of slaughter characteristics (fatty carcass), improvement of sensory characteristics of beef (marbleness of meat), reduction of feed costs through the use of by-products, reduction of carbon footprint in the animal feed chain. SA.60012(2020/X) Opracowanie receptury oraz przeprowadzenie testów laboratoryjnych i produkcyjnych mieszanki paszowej przeznaczonej do fazy końcowej opasu bydła w oparciu o uboczne produkty przemysłu spożywczego. Nowe cechy opracowanego produktu to: 1. wykorzystanie ubocznych produktów przemysłu spożywczego tj. łomu ciastkowego, mechanicznie uszkodzonych wyrobów pochodzących z produkcji ciastek i słodyczy, łuski kakaowej, orzecha arachidowego, które zostaną przeznaczone do produkcji mieszanek treściwych pełnoporcjowych, tj. mieszanki pełnoporcjowej dla opasów w końcowej fazie opasu (ostatnie 60-120 dni opasu) w celu poprawy ich wartości opasowej (przyrosty), rzeźnej (otłuszczenie) oraz jakości mięsa (marmurkowatość). 2. wykorzystanie termicznie przetworzonych węglowodanów niestrukturalnych (skrobi), w postaci ubocznych produktów przemysłu spożywczego zmniejszających wykorzystanie drogich i potencjalnie mogących mieć zastosowanie w żywieniu ludzi komponentów zbożowych; 3. opracowanie formy mieszanki utrudniającej segregację komponentów podanych w mieszance (np. peletowanie). W ramach niniejszego projektu opracowane zostaną następujące produkty: mieszanka treściwa pełnoporcjowa dla finiszujących buhajów; mieszanka treściwa pełnoporcjowa dla finiszujących jałówek; Kluczowe nowe funkcjonalności to: poprawa wyników produkcyjnych (przyrostów dobowych) oraz walorów sensorycznych paszy, poprawa cech rzeźnych (otłuszczenie tuszy) poprawa cech sensorycznych wołowych ( marmurkowatość mięsa), zmniejszenie kosztów paszy poprzez wykorzystanie produktów ubocznych, zmniejszenie śladu węglowego w łańcuchu żywienia zwierząt.
