    Project implemented by PI Marijampolė Hospital and Suwałki Hospital is aimed at increasing of cross-border cooperation of the health care institutions in the field of common solutions for optimal security of personal and medical data, which is an important element of the quality of medical services provided. The project is focused on supporting effectiveness and efficiency of public hospitals in the PL-LT borderland region in scope of secure collecting, processing and exchange of sensitive data (personal data, medical files) between healthcare units, from the point of view of provisions being in force, especially General Data Protection Regulation and Directive on application of patients’ rights in CB healthcare. Main project events: kick-off conference in Mariampolė, a cycle of training for IT specialists and other personnel in the field of cyber protection and EU GRPD Protection, MCSA training for IT specialists, purchase of modern IT hardware and software, closing conference in Suwałki. Planned results: 31 organized events with 768 participants, 668 persons (staff of partners) participating in joint trainings/exchange of staff, 71 pcs. of purchased IT hardware and software. Expected outputs: Share of 2 institutions benefiting from CB cooperation in the field of common solutions for optimal security of personal and medical data, which is an important element of the quality of medical services provided.
