The project's main goal is to increase number of visitors to Latgale and Pskov regions through improvement of nature objects in Ludza and Sebezh towns (Ludza town park and Sebezh Gogol Square), introduction of innovative methods for educating school students about nature issues, raising nature specialists' capacity and informing society. Activities include construction of outdoor classrooms with necessary facilities and equipment (reconstruction of paths, greening, lighting, mounting of digital infostands) in Ludza town park and Sebezh Gogol Square; nature training cycle for a group of 10 school students of each partner; 2 experience exchange visits for the groups of students; 4 seminars for specialists working with nature issues with students; publication of brochures about the project results; informing society through printed press, Internet and TV. The improved nature objects will have a wider scope of use in future - recreation, informing and learning, which will facilitate development nature tourism in the regions. (English)
