The PA10 project pursues three objectives: enhance coordination between stakeholders, facilitate project development and support policy development. Stakeholders such as civil society, public administrations, funding institutions, and representatives of the EUSDR Governance are coordinated in different frameworks such as the Bled Strategic Forum, the Danube Participation Days, and the framework for coordination between Priority Areas. These coordination frameworks aim at addressing challenges of the Danube Region in the area of institutional capacity and cooperation in a coordinated way and support bridging policy silos for a more comprehensive understanding as well as improved and innovative policy development. PA 10 also develops structures and concepts to support project development. Thus, the framework “Bridging the gap” and the framework on project consultation are aiming at build capacities among project partners and link single projects and initiatives to policies and strategies in order to enhance further project development. Likewise, PA 10 seeks to increase the knowledge of funding opportunities linked to the actions of Priority Area. 10. Finally, PA 10 develops policy papers on youth involvement and participatory governance in close cooperation with its stakeholders that aim at identifying key challenges in the Danube Region and providing guidance and recommendations for public administrations and civil society. As a result, the combination of measures related to policy development, coordination of stakeholders and project development shall lead to a more effective coordination of PA10 and implementation of the EUSDR.
