The TAPE called RE-START Creating Needs Based Employment in the Lower Ipel Valley will be coordinated by the project RE-CONNECT (CCP) led by Pontibus EGTC. This area faces multiple challenges, a combination of ageing population & unemployment. The economic activity is very low, there is neither relevant industrial activities or urban areas, nor declining facilities or brownfield industrial zones. RE-START’s mission is to raise employment by building on those currently inactive who are still in active age. This will be realized through the following specific objectives: - Job creation based on new services, social care and silver employment. - Raising employability by training & mentorship programmes to support the unemployed, unqualified & inactive people. - Increased cross border mobility of labour force by capacity coordination and cooperation. The sound coordination of RE-START necessitates the following actions: - Continuous contact with each LB of other projects and other beneficiaries and regular project meetings. - Handling risk and crisis management in case of delays in the implementation of TAPE activities, project or partner changes, indicator failures, preparing risk assessment reports and follow ups. - Direct contact with the JS and submitting follow-up reports for each project. Pontibus will be also responsible for implementing SMART communication and dissemination activities of RE-START. The following activities are planned: preparing billboards, separate website, brief introduction of RE-START, related articles on partners’ websites and programme website, articles and media coverage gathered in a press book, press conferences, public events, trilingual press releases, study visits for journalists preceding public events. Capitalization of achievements, knowledge transfer to and from similar initiatives at cross-border and transnational scale will be also carried out by Pontibus EGTC. (English)
