One landmark of the common cultural heritage shared by Romania and Republic of Moldova is related to the poet Mihai Eminescu. The project capitalizes on the cultural tradition to create a touristic cross border route and a variety of cultural events in Botosani (Romania) and Bălți (Republic of Moldova). Both communities are developing updated sustainable tourism strategies with a robust cross-border dimension. (English)
