The County Hospital Borsod-A-Z and University Teaching Hospital in Miskolc and the Nemocnica s poliklinikou n.o. Kral’ovsky Chlmec have signed a professional cooperation agreement on 07.03.2016. The two regions have similar economic, social and health situation with similar problems. Both countries are members of the European Union, where the free movement of labor means an opportunity. It implies that health workers are seeking their success in Western countries of the EU in the hope of a better life. This results in the LACK OF PROFESSIONALS in the healthcare sector. The lack of radiologists is particularly pronounced. This is also a worldwide phenomenon. The overall objective of our tender is to obtain resources for the complete health care of our common patients. Our proposed solution: "TRAVEL OF THE RECORD INSTEAD OF THE PATIENT” The solution of the problem: TELERADIOLOGY With the introduction of teleradiology the professional support and the quality of diagnostics are strengthened between the parties. It enables professional consultation and collaboration. The spare capacity of radiological technology can be used more effectively. The main objective of the project is to improve the cross-border cooperation between the County hospital in Miskolc and the city hospital in Királyhelmec especially the cooperation on the professional field of Radiology, developing Teleradiology. The implementation is based on close cooperation of the partners in medicine and information technology. The joint implementation is appropriate because with the development we have a possibility of knowledge sharing between a county teaching hospital and a regional city hospital. It also improves the access to high quality healthcare. The utilization of human and IT resources is growing. The operation becomes more cost-effective. Closer relationship in education and science can be deepened. As a result both the Hungarian and the Slovakian partner will be able to use teleradiology. (English)
