    Tackled common cross-border problems / challenges are: low economic performance; export from agriculture and food production is low; lack of efficient support to organic producer; not efficient link to R&D institution established; transfer of knowledge, innovation and research result in organic production and supporting industries are on low level. Project’s approach in addressing common challenges is: a) providing of tailor made services and training possibilities; b) strengthening of cooperation between organic producer’s, associations of organic producers, local governments, support institutions, education/research organisations; c) enabling transfer of know-how from R&D sector to practice; e) strengthening of market image, f) networking of producer and development of precondition for creation “joint sales chains” and local market. The main objective of the project is to contribute to improvement of competitiveness of the Osijek-Baranja County and South&North Bačka Districts through developed new and/or improved existing products, services and trademarks in organic production based on increase of organic producers’ competences and strengthening cooperation between organic producer’s, associations of organic producers, local governments, support institutions, clusters, education and research organisations. The project outputs are: 2 competence centres jointly used by entrepreneurs developed; at least 260 of existing/new organic producers trained; 1 cross border network of organic producers improved; production&education polygon for organic production established; Kitchen incubator" for joint use and training of organic producer established; 1 laboratory and competence centres jointly used by entrepreneurs developed or improved, target group are organic or potential organic producers. Cross-border added value: transfer of know-how in support of organic producers, transfer of know –how in R&D and using of EU funds. (English)
