    The main project objective is to increase cooperation of the municipal institutions in order to upgrade quality of municipal public fire and rescue services in the cross-border area of Lithuania and Poland. The project partners seek to reinforce capacities of municipal fire and rescue teams for joint respond to the emergency situations, natural disasters and new challenges; to ensure availability of the firefighting and rescue equipment and infrastructure in the borderline area; to ensure sufficient number of volunteers contributing to the high quality of fire and rescue services; to increase awareness of the firefighting and rescue teams on both sides of the border. The main project outputs are joint training of partners' staff (5 topics, 25 days, 318 participants), 3 firefighter cars with specialised equipment obtained, 2 infrastructure objects developed and 17 visibility outputs created.
