    The project aims to enhance the tourist potential in the cross-border region through rehabilitation of community centers and preservation of local cultural traditions. Specific project objectives are: Rehabilitation of the community center in Sekirnik, Bosilovo; Rehabilitation of the community center in Ribnovo, Garmen and Better tourist services. Main outputs are: Rehabilitated municipal building of the community center in Sekirnik and building of the community center in Ribnovo. Improved condition of the public buildings and enhancement of their energy efficiency, fully equipped community center in Ribnovo, assured proper equipment for development and exposition of a local cultural tradition in the cross-border area- the custom of "Ribnovo marriage", new tourist service developed and ready for exposition and visiting, conducted folklore festival in the cross-border area and presented culture traditions, new tourist products developed and increased opportunities for tourists’ attraction; Partnerships established in the field of tourism. The renewed public infrastructure could become places for future touristic and cross-border cooperation and provide significant possibilities for realization of numerous programs, festivals, events, workshops about historical and cultural heritage, sustainable development, nature preservation, regional identity, etc. (English)
