The project is implemented by two organizations sharing the same values: youth education, responsibility for local groups and the promotion of volunteering. The two organizations have been organizing communities and involving volunteers for years. The project has two main aims: 1. forming communities from volunteers, 2. educating contributors from simple participants of programs. The step-by-step approach (involving, mentoring and delegating responsibility) and the combination of learning-by-doing method with experimental learning will help reaching project results. The project aims to address two, strictly correlated social problems which affect the upraising generations. The first one is the decreasing need and motivation for belonging to a community and acting for the benefit of a community, as well as for being a volunteer. The lack of volunteering and community membership result in further problems, such as the lack of or delayed responsibility assuming which can cause personal and social damages as well. This phenomenon exists on the both sides of the border, and the project partners have already realized the problem and have already started to tackle it during their daily work. Therefore, the project will be an evident continuation of the already started activities and mission. The problems will be addressed by motivation of youngsters and presenting them with the strength of communities via personal experience and volunteering activities. The project partners intend to educate youngsters to embrace engagement and thus, the responsibility, as the key factors for being ready to take action. The second problem which the project tackles is the phenomenon of being only a consumer of programs but not taking part in their organization. Project activities in the field of education and organization of programmes are available to all young people in the border region, especially to disadvantaged persons. The involvement of young people within communities includes giving and receiving opportunities for connecting to their peers and for exchange of experiences. Additionally, all programs and educational activities will be free-of-charge and promoted via various media channels and social media networks in order to ensure that everyone who is interested can take part in them. Furthermore, for the purpose of discovering and nurturing talent, the project takes into account abilities and skills of each individual and offers help and support, relying on the principle of equal treatment.
