Cílem tohoto projektu je poznat mechanismy, které definují meiotické dělení a diferenciaci pohlavních buněk u rostlin; součástí tohoto úsilí bude vyvinutí technologií umožňujících diferenciaci pohlavních buněk in vitro, zobrazování meiózy v reálném čase a manipulaci meiotických procesů. Projekt doplňuje stávající výzkumné aktivity CEITECu přispívá k mezioborovosti, mezinárodní spolupráci výzkumného centra a má silný aplikační potenciál při šlechtění rostlin. a. (Czech)

The aim of this project is to identify mechanisms that define meiotic division and differentiation of sex cells in plants; this will include developing technologies to differentiate sexual cells in vitro, real-time imaging of meiosis and manipulation of meiotic processes. The project complements the existing research activities of CEITEC contributes to interdisciplinaryness, international cooperation of the research centre and has a strong application potential for plant breeding. a. Le but de ce projet est d’identifier les mécanismes qui définissent la division méiotique et la différenciation des cellules sexuelles dans les plantes; il s’agira notamment de mettre au point des technologies permettant la différenciation in vitro des cellules entre les sexes, l’imagerie de la méiose en temps réel et la manipulation des processus méiotiques. Le projet complète les activités de recherche existantes du CEITEC, contribue à l’interdisciplinarité et à la coopération internationale du centre de recherche et possède un fort potentiel d’application en matière de sélection végétale. Ziel dieses Projekts ist es, Mechanismen zu identifizieren, die die meiotische Teilung und Differenzierung von Sexualzellen in Pflanzen definieren; dazu gehören die Entwicklung von Technologien, die die Geschlechterzelldifferenzierung in vitro, Echtzeit-Meiose-Bildgebung und Manipulation meiotischer Prozesse ermöglichen. Das Projekt ergänzt die bestehenden Forschungsaktivitäten von CEITEC, trägt zur Interdisziplinarität, zur internationalen Zusammenarbeit des Forschungszentrums bei und verfügt über ein starkes Anwendungspotenzial in der Pflanzenzüchtung. Het doel van dit project is mechanismen te identificeren die de meiotische deling en differentiatie van geslachtscellen in planten definiëren; dit omvat de ontwikkeling van technologieën die genderceldifferentiatie in vitro mogelijk maken, real-time meiosis imaging en manipulatie van meiotische processen. Het project vormt een aanvulling op de bestaande onderzoeksactiviteiten van CEITEC, draagt bij tot interdisciplinariteit, internationale samenwerking van het onderzoekscentrum en heeft een sterk toepassingspotentieel op het gebied van plantenteelt. L'obiettivo di questo progetto è individuare meccanismi che definiscano la divisione meiotica e la differenziazione delle cellule sessuali nelle piante; ciò comprenderà lo sviluppo di tecnologie che consentano la differenziazione delle cellule di genere in vitro, l'imaging meiosi in tempo reale e la manipolazione dei processi meiotici. Il progetto integra le attività di ricerca esistenti del CEITEC, contribuisce all'interdisciplinarità e alla cooperazione internazionale del centro di ricerca e presenta un forte potenziale di applicazione nella selezione delle piante. El objetivo de este proyecto es identificar mecanismos que definan la división meiótica y la diferenciación de las células sexuales en las plantas; esto incluirá el desarrollo de tecnologías que permitan la diferenciación de las células de género in vitro, la imagen de la meiosis en tiempo real y la manipulación de los procesos meióticos. El proyecto complementa las actividades de investigación existentes del CEITEC, contribuye a la interdisciplinariedad, la cooperación internacional del centro de investigación y tiene un gran potencial de aplicación en la mejora vegetal.
