Supporting the necessity of the project, antecedents: The management of the city of Mezőtúr has always put great emphasis on providing the right sporting opportunity in the settlement. The Mezőtúr Athletics and Football Club was established in 1923, which is responsible for shaping the urban sports life. During its 97 years of existence, the association has undergone several name changes. The current association started its operation as its successor in 1991 through the merger of several sports clubs (Mezőtúr Honvéd SE, MAFC), and within the club there are several sports (team, handball, football, ping-pong, boxing, tennis, etc.). Our association has more than a thousand members. There’s continued support for the department. We also place great emphasis on training for supply. Athletes represent our city effectively at county and national sports events. In this competition we would like to encourage the people of the city to love sports. Football is the most popular sport in the city. That’s why we want to promote sports and healthy lifestyles through football. Within the framework of the Túri Football Festival, we would like to implement a three-day-long awareness-raising training. We want to organise sports programs. The team of the MAFC soccer department would be able to measure you and you. We would give lectures on sports and healthy lifestyles. As part of an exhibition, we would introduce the participants about the preventive, equal opportunities, catch-up and awareness-raising effects of sport. Preparation of the project: Mezőtúri AFC continuously recruits residents who want to play sports. It gives all people who want to play sports the opportunity to spend their free time actively. The city of Mezőtúr has a prominent role in sport. We are constantly actively organising sports life. We strive to promote the health care activities of the inhabitants of the city. We strive to provide our competitors with the necessary conditions to play sports so that they can maximise their abilities. We organise competitions in every department. Our teams participate in the championships of the age group, and most of them have been successful. During the preparation of athletes, we organised lectures and prevention sessions on several occasions. The aim of this competition is to create a festival linked to prevention sessions calling for complex sporting activities and healthy lifestyles, based on our previous events. During the lectures we also try to emphasise environmental education, so a memorial tree will be planted, which was offered by the Municipality of Mezőtúr City. Target group(s) concerned by the project: By organising the series of events, we want to reach out to the entire population of the city. The main objective is to involve students and seniors in sports. Of course, in the catching-up activities, we want to involve disadvantaged people, people with reduced mobility and the ethnic population. The aim is to get the programme’s guiding ideas to the entire population. Of course, we also use the help of the urban media (Mezőtúri and Vidéke, Pont Radio, Mezőtúri Városi Television). We want sports love and a healthy lifestyle to be an active part of the everyday life of the inhabitants of Mezőtúr. Activities to be implemented: We intend to implement the programmes in three phases. I. Championships of the MAFC football spring breaks (U7-9, U11-13, U16-19). After a joint warm-up, teams compare their strength by age group. We plan to invite several teams to this event, in addition to the players in the section. The goal is to get as many people as possible to play sports. The championships will be free of charge. A thematic exhibition will be organised in parallel to the sporting event. It will focus on sports and healthy lifestyles. This preventive awareness-raising exhibition will be held at the next two events. We want to recognise the success of the players with diplomas and medals. The planned implementation date is November 2020 in line with the current sporting events. II. The next phase is planned for a one-day training camp in June 2021. Here we planned a joint training session in conjunction with a series of professional lectures. We would invite three outstanding athletes to train the players in our divisions. A professional presentation would then follow. We would project sports matches (laptop projector) and analyse them with the help of the coaches, as well as evaluate trainings and exchange experiences. A one-time meal would be provided during the day for the participants in the training camp. We would provide equal T-shirts for the participants in the camp. It also strengthens a sense of belonging and love for dust. During the day, the thematic exhibition will also be available here. Children as the closure of the camp (English)

A projekt szükségességének alátámasztása, előzmények: Mezőtúr város vezetése mindig nagy hangsúlyt fektetett arra, hogy a településen biztosítsa a megfelelő sportolási lehetőséget. A jelenlegi egyesület 1991-ben kezdte meg működését jogutódként több sportklub egyesülése révén (Mezőtúri Honvéd SE, MAFC), A klubbon belül több sportág is képviselteti magát (teke, kézilabda, futball, pingpong, ökölvívás, tenisz, stb.). Az egyesületünk tagsága meghaladja az ezer főt. Folyamatos a szakosztályok támogatottsága. Az utánpótlás képzésre is nagy hangsúlyt fektetünk. A sportolók eredményesen képviselik városunkat a megyei, illetve országos sport rendezvényeken. Jelen pályázatban a sport szeretetére szeretnénk ösztönözni a város lakosságát. A városban a legnépszerűbb sportág a futball. A projekt előkészítettsége: A Mezőtúri AFC folyamatosan toboroz a sportolni vágyó lakosokat. Lehetőséget biztosít minden sportolni vágyó embernek, hogy szabadidejét aktívan eltölthesse. Mezőtúr város sport életében kiemelkedő szerepet foglal el. Folyamatosan aktívan szervezzük a sportéletet. Törekszünk a város lakosainak egészségmegőrző tevékenységének elősegítéséhez. Megvalósítandó tevékenységek: A programokat három ütemben kívánjuk megvalósítani. I. A MAFC labdarugó szakasztásainak (U7-9, U11-13, U16-19) bajnoksága. Egy közös bemelegítést követően a csapatok korosztályonként összemérik erejüket. Erre a z eseményre több csapat meghívását is tervezzük a szakosztály játékosain kívül. A bajnokságok ingyenesen látogathatók lesznek. A sportrendezvénnyel párhuzamosan egy tematikus kiállítást is megrendezésre kerül. A témája a sportolással és egészséges életmóddal kapcsolatos lesz. Ezt a prevenciós szemléletformáló kiállítást a továbbiakban a következő két rendezvényen is megtekinthető lesz. A játékosok eredményes szereplését oklevelekkel és érmekkel kívánjuk elismerni. A megvalósítás tervezett időpontja 2020 november hónapja az aktuális sportrendezvényekhez igazodva. II. A táborban résztvevők részére egyenpólókat biztosítanánk. A nap folyamán a tematikus kiállítás itt is megtekinthető lesz. A gyermekek a tábor zárásaként egy (Hungarian)
