    A projekt célja: A projekt közvetett, hosszú távú célja a versenyképesség növelése. Ennek érdekében javítani szükséges a település és a térség gazdasági helyzetét, ami új munkahelyek létesítését eredményezi. A projekt az új iparterület kialakításával, a vállalkozások betelepítésének növelésével és az iparterületen működő vállalkozások gazdálkodásának javításával, stabilitásuk növelésével járul hozzá ennek a célnak az eléréséhez. Jelen projekt keretében egy modern vállalkozási környezet kialakítása valósul meg a község és a térség tőkevonzó képességének növelése és a helyi, térségi vállalkozások fejlődési lehetőségeinek biztosítása érdekében. A projekt hosszú távú céljai között szerepel továbbá a hazai (helyi) kis- és középvállalkozások fejlesztése, mely a munkahelyteremtés egyik fontos eszköze és napjainkban az egyik legjobb lehetőség a foglalkoztatottság mértékének fenntartására. Mivel Szentpéterszeg község vezetése elkötelezetten támogatja az új munkahelyek teremtésének segítését és a gazdasági növekedést ezért mindent megtesz, hogy növelje a segítő infrastrukturális háttér és szolgáltatások mennyiségét és minőségét az induló és a már működő vállalkozások támogatása érdekében. A tervezett bércsarnok kialakítása és kialakításra kerülő iparterület infrastruktúrájának fejlesztése ennek egyik eszköze lesz. A projekt jövőbeni célja továbbá, hogy a bércsarnok megépítésével- az tervezett iparterület területén belül egy új épület építésével- olyan működési teret biztosítson a kezdő illetve növekedési fázisban lévő kis- és középvállalkozásoknak, amely a kedvező működési költségeken és szolgáltatási díjakon keresztül lehetőséget ad a felszabaduló források más irányú hasznosítására. Így például magasabban kvalifikált munkaerő alkalmazására vagy modernebb eszközök használatára. Szentpéterszeg középtávú fejlesztési terve - melyet a Gazdasági Programjában is megfogalmazott – a település rendezési tervében szereplő ipari terület infrastruktúrájának kiépítése a vállalkozások letelepedésének érdekében, melynek eredményeként megfelelő alapot nyújtó iparterület kialakulása valósul meg. Ezen fejlesztéssel ide lehet vonzani a település, a térség, valamint az országhatáron túli gazdaság vállalkozóit, akik a térségben lévő foglalkoztatás megtartásában és növelésében is jelentős szerepet töltenek és tölthetnek be. A projekt közvetlen, rövid távú célja egy olyan korszerű és fejlett infrastruktúrával rendelkező iparterület kialakítása az iparterület elérhetőségét és feltárását biztosító utak fejlesztésével, valamint egy új csarnoképület (bércsarnok) építése, új kezdő vállalkozások indulásához lehetőség biztosítása céljából, mely munkahelyteremtő beruházások megvalósulását, illetve termelő és szolgáltató vállalkozások letelepedését teszi lehetővé Szentpéterszegen. A gazdasági hatáson túl a környezetre gyakorolt hatása is jelentős, hiszen a környezeti, zaj, és légszennyezéssel járó tevékenységek nem a lakóépületek között zajlanak, másrészt a dinamizálódó és fejlett környezetet biztosító ipari terület új befektetéseket is vonz, ami a lakosság jövedelmi helyzetét és életkörülményeit is javíthatja. A fejlesztés keretében Szentpéterszeg településen 0,7891 ha Gip 1 ipari-gazdasági területnek minősített területen iparterület kerül kialakításra az iparterület elérhetőségét és feltárását segítő vonalas infrastruktúra fejlesztésével, valamint a tervezett iparterület területén egy új, a betelepülni szándékozó vállalkozások számára bérbeadandó csarnoképület (bércsarnok) építésével. A kialakításra kerülő iparterület Szentpéterszeg településen helyezkedik el a 1071 hrsz-ú közút településről kivezető szakaszánál, a 4812 j. út D-i oldalán. A beruházás zöldmezős. A fejlesztés elsődleges célcsoportja a kialakítandó iparterületre betelepülni szándékozó vállalkozások. A célcsoportra jellemző, hogy nem csak elsősorban a helyi vállalkozásokból tevődik össze, hanem a térségben lévő, de akár országos vagy nagyobb hatókörű, országhatáron kívüli vállalkozásokból is. A fejlesztés másodlagos célcsoportját a teljes település, a kistérség, és régió lakossága, alkotják. A projekt szakmai-műszaki tartalma és műszaki-szakmai eredményei, valamint a projekt műszaki-szakmai tartalmával és a megvalósítással kapcsolatos elvárásoknak való megfelelés: A tervezett fejlesztés elemei: 0,7891 ha iparterület kialakítása, a terület közművel történő ellátása (vízellátás és elektromos ellátás): - Vízellátás és csapadékvíz elvezetés: A tervezett vízvezeték a Szentpéterszeg Klapka Gy. utca területén a 15. sz. alatt lévő ingatlan előtt lévő NA 100 dimenziójú vízvezetékhez csatlakozva kerül megépítésre.
