Azt az energiát, amely a Föld kitermelhető kőolajkészleteiben rejlik, a Nap másfél nap alatt sugározza a Földre. A Nap egy órányi energiakibocsátása teljes egészében fedezné az emberiség egy évi energiafogyasztását. Bár a tervezett napelempark nem ilyen nagy horderővel bír, vállalkozás számára fontos lépsé lenne.
