The overall objective of the project is to create the conditions for and increase the chances of access to quality education at the Bolyai János High School in Kecskemét. In many cases, the quality of the institution’s educational activities is limited by the incomplete and outdated state of the technical infrastructure. Identified infrastructure gaps and needs: • There is a lack of a well-equipped and modern, multifunctional educational room in the institution; • The gym flat roof needs to be improved because it is soaked regularly; • The windows of the gym cannot be opened, they are glued in order to avoid soaking, so that they cannot be ventilated; • The floor covering is outdated and worn in several rooms of the building: • Dignified educational conditions are not available in the attic — during the summer period, or at the beginning of the school year, in the attic of a school built with panel technology, it is impossible to teach or stay there due to unbearable heat; • Accessibility is not solved, we do not have accessible toilets and access to school is not solved in a barrier-free manner; • The ceramic covering in front of the main entrance is frozen, fragmented and separated from the socket in many places; • Water blocks are outdated and not energy-efficient, their replacement is absolutely necessary; • Currently we only have a bicycle storage capacity of 30 seats, which can cover only one third of the needs involved; • The protection of property is a problem: at the plastic paved sports grounds, the low fence regularly travels into and out of strangers: they‘re littering, they’re tampering. The protection of the bicycle storage is not solved; • The outside windows of the building are in bad condition. Most of them are difficult to open, so they can no longer use most of the windows. The direct target group of the development is school pupils as well as children potentially further studying in the secondary school. 1. Children coming from remote, socially and economically lagging areas: more and more people come to us to learn from the surrounding, particularly disadvantaged villages and small towns. The walk-in lifestyle is a special situation for these students, as they travel 1.5-2 hours a day. The underlying reason for his integration and behavioural difficulties is family and environmental disadvantage. 2. Our school’s sports students are also in a special position, who have outstanding skills in terms of their sports results, but are extremely burdened due to trainings and competitions, so they can easily lag behind their peers in the field of study. They belong to the indirect target group of the project • Teachers, specialists and technical staff of the institution; • The gym is used not only by our students, but every week after school between 16 and 9 a.m., and almost every weekend, the Mercédesz Academy and KKC basketball players train and play youth and adult championship matches; • The school’s students and employees of other member institutions can enjoy increasing the competitiveness of their parent institution; • Children’s family members who can enjoy the services provided by a modern, modern pedagogical institution. All residents of municipalities, districts and counties involved in the project, who will benefit from the renewed institution, who can have equal access to quality public services for their children. Activities planned during the implementation of the project: Project preparation activities: • Drawing up a professional plan; • Background studies, surveys, analyses; • Public procurement; • Develop project management. A projekt átfogó célja a Kecskeméti Bolyai János Gimnáziumban a minőségi oktatás feltételeinek megteremtése és az ahhoz való hozzáférés esélyeinek növelése. Az intézmény oktatási tevékenységének minőségi ellátását sok esetben korlátozza a műszaki infrastruktúra hiányos, elavult állapota. Azonosított infrastrukturális hiányok és szükségletek: • Hiányzik egy jól felszerelt és korszerű, többfunkciós oktatási helyiség az intézményben; • A tornatermi lapostető javításra szorul, mert rendszeresen beázik; • A tornaterem ablakait nem lehet kinyitni, a beázás elkerülése érdekében beragasztották azokat, így szellőztetni sem lehet; • Az épület több helységében elavult, kopott a padlóburkolat:; • A tetőtérben nem állnak rendelkezésre a méltó oktatási körülmények – a nyári időszakban, illetve a tanév kezdetén a panel technikával épült iskola tetőterében az elviselhetetlen meleg miatt nem lehet oktatatni, gyermekeknek ott tartózkodni.; • Az akadálymentesítés nem megoldott, nincs akadálymentes mosdónk és az iskolába való bejutás sem megoldott akadálymentes módon; • A főbejárat előtti rész kerámiaburkolata felfagyott, eltöredezett, az aljzattól sok helyen elvált; • A vizesblokkok korszerűtlenek és nem energiatakarékosak, a cseréjük mindenképpen szükséges; • Jelenleg csak 30 férőhelyes kerékpártárolóval rendelkezünk, amely a felmerülő igényeknek csak a harmadát tudja fedezni; • Gondot jelent a vagyonvédelem, állagvédelem: a műanyag burkolatos sportpályáknál az alacsony kerítésen rendszeresen közlekednek idegenek ki-be: szemetelnek, rongálnak. A kerékpártároló védelme sem megoldott; • Az épület külső ablakainak állapota rossz. Nagy részük nehezen, alig nyitható, emiatt az ablakok nagyobb részét már nem tudják használni. A fejlesztés közvetlen célcsoportjába tartoznak az iskola tanulói, valamint a potenciálisan a gimnáziumban tovább tanuló gyermekek. 1. Távoli, szociálisan, gazdaságilag leszakadó területekről érkező gyerekek: egyre többen jönnek hozzánk tanulni a környező, kiemelten hátrányos helyzetű falvakból, kisvárosokból. A bejáró életmód speciális helyzetet jelent ezeknél a diákoknál, hisz ők naponta 1,5-2 órát utaznak. Az ő beilleszkedési, magatartási nehézségeinek alapvető oka a családi, környezeti hátrányos helyzet. 2. Speciális helyzetben vannak iskolánk sporttagozatos diákjai is, akik sporteredményeiket tekintve kiemelkedő képességűek, de az edzések, versenyek miatt rendkívül leterheltek, így tanulmányi téren könnyen lemaradhatnak társaiktól. A projekt közvetett célcsoportjába tartoznak • Az intézmény pedagógusai, szakdolgozói és technikai munkatársai; • A tornatermet nem csak diákjaink használják, hanem tanítás után hétköznaponként 16-21 óra között mindig, és szinte minden hétvégén a Mercédesz Akadémia és a KKC kosarasai edzenek és játszanak ifjúsági és felnőtt bajnoki mérkőzéseket; • Az iskola másik tagintézmények diákjai, dolgozói, akik élvezhetik, anyaintézményük versenyképességének növekedését; • A gyermekek családtagjai, akik élvezhetik a korszerű, modern pedagógiai elveknek és elvárásoknak megfelelő intézmény nyújtotta szolgáltatásokat. A projektben érintett minden települési, járási és megyei lakos, akik élvezni fogják a megújult intézmény által nyújtott előnyöket, akik gyermekeik számára egyenlő hozzáférést kaphatnak a minőségi közszolgáltatásokhoz. A projekt megvalósítása során tervezett tevékenységek: Projekt előkészítési tevékenységek: • Szakmai terv készítése; • Háttértanulmányok, felmérések, elemzések elkészítése; • Közbeszerzések lebonyolítása; • Projektmenedzsment kialakítása. Projekt szakmai megvalósítás tevékenységei: • A mindennapos testneveléshez szükséges fejlesztések: tornaterem/tornaszoba, valamint ezek kiszolgáló helyiségeinek felújítása, korszerűsítése; sportudvarok felújítása és korszerűsítése; a mindennapos testneveléshez kapcsolódó berendezési tárgyak beszerzése, levegővel felfújt vagy feszített fedések beszerzése és építése; • nevelési-oktatási tevékenység megvalósításához használt termek, oktatási termek, és az azok elérését szolgáló folyosók, közlekedők felújítása, átalakítása, a termek elavult bútorainak cseréje. • Mellékhelyiségek, higiéniás létesítmények, orvosi szoba, szocializációt segítő helyiségek, szabadidős programoknak, foglalkozásoknak lehetőséget biztosító terek, információs és kommunikációs technológiák (IKT) komplex eszközrendszerének fogadására alkalmas intézményi környezet kialakítása; • Energetikai korszerűsítés; • Iskolaudvarok felújítása, ehhez kapcsolódó udvari eszközök beszerzése, a tanulást segítő térként való bekapcsolása a nevelés folyamatába; • A köznevelési intézményben tanulók és dolgozók biztonságához szükséges fejlesztések megvalósítása, beszerzése.
