THIS PROJECT AIMS TO DEVELOP AN INNOVATIVE HIGHLY AUTOMATED SYSTEM BASED ON THE USE OF ROBOTIC AND ARTIFICIAL VISION SOLUTIONS FOR THE POSITIONING OF HIDES ON THE FRAME AND FOR FIXING THROUGH INNOVATIVE “MAGNETIC PINS”. THE NEW TECHNOLOGY WILL BE ABLE TO ELIMINATE THE TECHNICAL PROBLEMS ARISING FROM THE USE OF TRADITIONAL SYSTEMS AND SIGNIFICANTLY INCREASE THE ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY AND COMPETITIVENESS OF THE PROCESS. THE PROJECT IS FUNCTIONAL TO REDESIGN THE CONCEPT OF THE LOADING/UNLOADING STATION WITH HIGH AUTOMATION ON THE BASIS OF THE NEW TECHNOLOGICAL PARADIGM, AS WELL AS TO CREATE A PILOT PLANT TO VALIDATE THE NEW TECHNOLOGY AND DEFINE ITS PARAMETRIC AND PROCESS CONFIGURATIONS FOR THE MAIN TYPES OF LEATHER AND TANNING APPLICATIONS.
