Property / summary

Companies in the cultural and creative industries sector feel stronger international competition, which is why the ability to create and export internationally competitive products and services becomes particularly relevant. Unfortunately, compared to other countries of similar size and level of development, the volume of exports of goods of local origin by Lithuanian companies is low and their growth trends, although currently positive, are not sufficient to achieve a very good result. To this end, measures must be taken to encourage businesses to focus as much as possible on the take-up and development of foreign markets. In order to solve the problems of internationalisation of enterprises in the cultural and creative industries sector, a project is being initiated, during which a group presentation of companies and their products to foreign markets will be organised in order to establish a cooperative relationship with new customers or partners. During the project, companies will participate in international exhibitions and business missions in various countries of the world. The successful implementation of the project will increase the volume of export, turnover and visibility of companies in international markets. All this will strengthen their competitive advantage. The project needs EU support as funding will allow the project to be implemented in an integrated and broader way. Without EU support, the project would be carried out to a lesser extent, which would prevent it from achieving its objectives and results within the foreseen timeframe. (English)

(Lithuanian)
