In order to contribute to the environmental sustainability and development of electric vehicle infrastructure in Lithuania, Utena District Municipality is planning to carry out a project aimed at creating a publicly available network of recharging points for electric vehicles in Utena, in order to promote the use of electric vehicles and reduce the negative environmental impact of transport. During the project it is planned to install three electric vehicle charging stations (Maironio str. 6A, Utenio a. 4A and K. Donelaičio str. 38) with the possibility to charge two electric vehicles at the same time. Maironio g. 6A and Utenio a. 4A are intended to be equipped with fast charging stations and one charging station with normal capacity is to be installed at Donelaičio str. 38. In total, the project foresees 6 access points. Utena District Municipality will provide a free electric vehicle charging service for 5 years after the implementation of the project. It is expected that the successful implementation of this project will encourage the choice of environmentally friendly means of transport, which will reduce air pollution, noise and preserve the environment. Utenos rajono savivaldybė, siekdama prisidėti prie aplinkos tausojimo ir elektromobilių infrastruktūros plėtros Lietuvoje, numato vykdyti projektą, kurio tikslas - sukurti viešai prieinamą elektromobilių įkrovimo prieigų tinklą Utenos mieste, siekiant skatinti elektromobilių naudojimą ir mažinti neigiamą transporto poveikį aplinkai. Projekto metu numatoma įrengti tris elektromobilių įkrovimo stoteles (Maironio g. 6A, Utenio a. 4A ir K. Donelaičio g. 38) su galimybe įkrauti po du elektromobilius vienu metu. Maironio g. 6A ir Utenio a. 4A numatoma įrengti greito įkrovimo stoteles ir Donelaičio g. 38 numatoma įrengti vieną įprasto galingumo įkrovimo stotelę. Iš viso projekto metu numatoma įrengti 6 prieigas. Utenos rajono savivaldybė 5 metus po projekto įgyvendinimo užtikrins nemokamą elektromobilių įkrovimo teikimo paslaugą. Tikimasi, kad šio projekto sėkmingas įgyvendinimas paskatins rinktis ekologišką transporto priemonę, kas leis mažinti oro taršą, triukšmą ir išsaugoti ekologišką aplinką. (Lithuanian)
