Objective of the project: reduce the incidence of tuberculosis among the population of the municipality of Elektrėnai in order to prevent the development and spread of drug-resistant microbacteria of tuberculosis. The target group of the project is tuberculosis patients (children and adults). The project will address the needs of all patients and their families for quality and accessible disease prevention, early diagnosis, treatment and healthcare services. The project funds will ensure timely delivery (delivery) of anti-tuberculosis drugs from the local office of DOTS to the DOTS office of the municipality of Elektrėnai and delivery of medicines to the health care institution providing temporary DOTS services. Also, if necessary, the nurse will deliver the medicine to the patient home. All outpatients with tuberculosis and outpatients (if the regime does not violate the regime) will be issued once a week a food card for the purchase of food products, which can be used in a shop that will win public procurement (will provide the largest volume of food basket according to the specified amount — EUR 9). Projekto tikslas: mažinti Elektrėnų savivaldybės gyventojų sergamumą tuberkulioze, siekiant išvengti atsparių vaistams tuberkuliozės mikrobakterijų atsiradimo ir plitimo. Projekto tikslinė grupė - tuberkulioze sergantys pacientai (vaikai ir suaugusieji). Įgyvendinus projektą bus patenkinti visų sergančiųjų ir jų šeimos narių poreikiai gauti kokybiškas ir prieinamas ligų profilaktikos, ankstyvos ligų diagnostikos, gydymo bei sveikatos priežiūros paslaugas. Projekto lėšomis bus užtikrinamas savalaikis antituberkuliozinių vaistų iš krašto DOTS kabineto parvežimas (pristatymas) į Elektrėnų savivaldybės DOTS kabinetą bei vaistų pristatymas į laikinąsias DOTS paslaugas teikiančią sveikatos priežiūros įstaigą. Taip pat, esant reikalui, slaugytoja vaistus pacientui pristatys į namus. Visiems tuberkulioze sergantiems ir DOTS kabinete ambulatoriškai besigydantiems asmenims (jeigu nepažeis režimo) gydymo metu kartą per savaitę bus išduodamas maisto talonas maisto produktams įsigyti, kurį galės panaudoti parduotuvėje, kuri laimės viešuosius pirkimus (pateiks didžiausios apimties maisto krepšelį pagal nurodytą sumą – 9 Eur).
