Property / summary

Lithuania still fails to significantly reduce poverty or social exclusion, ensure territorial equality of social development and equal opportunities for everyone in the labour market. Municipalities with the highest unemployment, the lowest wages and the highest number of recipients of social benefits have a common feature — a low level of investment. These are problematic regions and the population is condemned to poverty and social exclusion. They are in a closed circle of reasons: low incomes, poor access to employment, insufficient level of education, limited choice and weak motivation. On the one hand, problem regions are not attractive to investors and employers and, on the other hand, the population of a problematic region cannot escape from such an environment because they are unable to compete in the labour market in more advanced regions. Project — Study “Discover yourself in the labour market” will be implemented in Utena County. The aim of the project is to help people experiencing social exclusion to integrate into the labour market by providing them with integrated social integration services. Cross-cutting project activities will aim to strengthen the motivation of social benefit beneficiaries and members of social risk families to actively participate in the labour market, develop their social and working skills, key competences, provide psychosocial assistance, facilitate employment or employment. ‘Target group’ means recipients of social benefits; social risk families; persons with disabilities; homeless people; persons who abuse alcohol. 274 people will participate in the project. Expected results of the project: the provision of integrated social integration services that meet the needs of social benefit recipients and social risk families will strengthen their self-confidence, motivation, responsibility for themselves and their family, encourage greater involvement in community activities, adapt to changes in the labour market, increase their job search, be self-employed and participate in the decision-making that shapes his life. Lietuvoje vis dar nepavyksta ženkliai sumažinti skurdo ar socialinės atskirties, užtikrinti socialinės raidos teritorinį tolygumą bei kiekvienam lygias galimybes darbo rinkoje. Savivaldybės, kuriose didžiausias nedarbas, mažiausi atlyginimai bei daugiausiai socialinės pašalpos gavėjų turi bendrą bruožą – žemą investicijų lygį. Tai - probleminiai regionai, gyventojai ten pasmerkti skurdui bei socialinei atskirčiai. Jie yra pakliuvę į uždarą priežasčių ratą: žemos pajamos, menkos galimybės įsidarbinti, nepakankamas išsimokslinimo lygis, ribotos pasirinkimo galimybės bei silpna motyvacija. Viena vertus, probleminiai regionai nėra patrauklūs investuotojams bei darbdaviams, kita vertus – probleminio regiono gyventojai negali išsiveržti iš tokios aplinkos, nes nepajėgia konkuruoti darbo rinkoje pažangesniuose regionuose. Projektas – Studija „Atrask save darbo rinkoje” bus įgyvendintas Utenos apskrityje. Projekto tikslas padėti socialinę atskirtį patiriantiems asmenims integruotis į darbo rinką, teikiant jiems kompleksines socialinės integracijos paslaugas. Vykdant kompleksines projekto veiklas bus siekiama stiprinti socialinės pašalpos gavėjų ir socialinės rizikos šeimų narių motyvaciją aktyviai dalyvauti darbo rinkoje, ugdyti jų socialinius ir darbo įgūdžius, bendruosius gebėjimus, teikti psichosocialinę pagalbą, tarpininkauti įsidarbinant ar įsidarbinus. Tikslinė grupė – socialinės pašalpos gavėjai; socialinės rizikos šeimos; neįgalieji; benamiai; asmenys, piktnaudžiaujantys alkoholiu. Projekte dalyvaus 274 asmenų. Tikėtini projekto rezultatai: suteiktos kompleksinės socialinės integracijos paslaugos, atitinkančios socialinės pašalpos gavėjų bei socialinės rizikos šeimų poreikius, sustiprins jų pasitikėjimą savimi, motyvaciją, atsakomybę už save ir savo šeimą, skatins aktyviau įsitraukti į bendruomenės veiklas, prisitaikyti prie darbo rinkos pokyčių, aktyviau ieškoti darbo, būti savarankišku, dalyvauti priimant sprendimus, kurie formuoja jo gyvenimą.
