The aim of the project “Preservation and strengthening of health of residents of Akmenė district municipality, prevention of diseases” is to improve the health literacy of residents of Akmenė district municipality and to form positive principles of healthy lifestyle. The target groups of the project are children of Akmenė district municipality under 18 years of age, elderly people, disabled persons and persons falling into problem areas of the region’s indicators (patients with diseases of the circulatory system, experienced or likely to experience traumas or accidents). The project organises health seminars and health promotion, educational and information events in public spaces, schools, etc. Educational film screenings and first-aid trainings will be organised. This project aims to reduce the incidence of cerebral circulatory diseases in the population. Participants will also be trained to prevent injuries, circulatory diseases and cancers. Projekto "Akmenės rajono savivaldybės gyventojų sveikatos saugojimas ir stiprinimas, ligų prevencija" tikslas – pagerinti Akmenės rajono savivaldybės gyventojų sveikatos raštingumą bei suformuoti pozityvius sveikos gyvensenos principus. Projekto tikslinės grupės – Akmenės rajono savivaldybės vaikai iki 18m., vyresnio amžiaus asmenys, neįgalieji bei asmenys, patenkantys į problemines rajono rodiklių sritis (sergantys kraujotakos sistemos ligomis, patyrę ar galintys patirti traumas ar nelaimingus atsitikimus). Projekto metu organizuojami sveikatingumo seminarai bei sveikatingumą skatinantys, šviečiamieji ir informaciniai renginiai viešosiose erdvėse, mokyklose ir pan.. Bus organizuojamos šviečiamųjų filmų peržiūros bei pirmosios būtinosios pagalbos mokymai. Šiuo projektu siekiama mažinti gyventojų sergamumą galvos smegenų kraujotakos ligomis. Taip pat dalyviai bus mokomi kaip išvengti traumų, kraujotakos ligų bei vėžinių susirgimų. (Lithuanian)
