Lietuvos energija gamybai (LEG) — is a company of strategic importance, part of the Lithuanian Energy (LE) Group, uniting state-owned electricity generation capacity, one of which is Kruonis Pumping Plant (Kruonis HAE). The main task of the LEG is to contribute to the country’s energy security by pooling production capacity. In order to perform the functions assigned properly and effectively, the company attaches great importance to technical and scientific progress, the training of specialists, and intensively implements scientific and technical innovations in its activities. The project implemented by the LEG is to substantially improve the Floating Solar Power Plant (FPV) system, adapt it to the working conditions of the hydroelectric power plant (HE) swimming pool (variable water level, freeze body) and create a new controller for the solar power plant and the HE system with a unique numerical intelligence-based management algorithm that would enable HE to provide new services. „Lietuvos energijos gamyba“ (LEG) – yra strateginės svarbos bendrovė, Lietuvos Energijos (LE) įmonių grupės dalis, vienijanti valstybės valdomus elektros energijos gamybos pajėgumus, iš kurių vienas - Kruonio hidroakumuliacinė elektrinė (Kruonio HAE). Siekdama tinkamai ir efektyviai vykdyti pavestas funkcijas, bendrovė didelę reikšmę skiria techninei ir mokslinei pažangai, specialistų ugdymui, savo veikloje intensyviai diegia mokslo ir technikos naujoves. LEG įgyvendinamo projekto esmė – iš esmės patobulinti plūduriuojančios saulės elektrinės (FPV) sistemą, ją pritaikyti hidroelektrinės (HE) baseiną veikiančioms darbo sąlygoms (kintantis vandens lygis, užšąlantis telkinys) ir sukurti naują valdiklį valdantį saulės elektrinės ir HE sistemą su unikaliu skaitiniu intelektu pagrįstu valdymo algoritmu, kuris leistų HE teikti naujas paslaugas.
