The aim of the project is to improve the condition and aesthetic attractiveness of the Šalčininkai pond area. During the project, the territory is managed near the Šalčininkai I Pond and part of the territory of the river Šalčia. The project aims to improve the aesthetic visual potential of the landscape of Šalčininkai pond and to adapt it to the harmonious development of the territory. The project is planned to: to eradicate invasive plant species, to reorganise the existing old dependent plantation in order to reduce the fragmentation of the landscape, to create a separate plantation in the managed area and to enable the public to know and use the landscape, to install information stands about vegetation and fauna in the cognitive paths and reconstructing the linden, to equip nesting boxes for birds, bats, to install insect houses, install fences and culverts for safe migration of amphibians, destroy low-value vegetation, strengthen shores, plant new trees, build a pedestrian path-based rubble, perform bridge repair by equipping a wooden base, install access to the shore and wooden pantonic berths, benches and bins. Equipment for maintenance of the area will be purchased, and it is planned to purchase a lawn cutting tractor, slope trimmer, brush cutter, snow blower. Projekto tikslas – pagerinti Šalčininkų tvenkinio teritorijos būklę ir estetinį patrauklumą. Projekto metu tvarkoma teritorija šalia Šalčininkų I tvenkinio ir dalis Šalčios upės teritorijos. Projektu siekiama pagerinti Šalčininkų tvenkinio kraštovaizdžio estetinį vizualinį potencialą bei pritaikyti darniam teritorijos vystymui. Projektu planuojama: išnaikinti invazines augalų rūšis, pertvarkyti esamą seną priklausomąjį želdyną, siekiant mažinti kraštovaizdžio fragmentaciją, sukurti tvarkomoje teritorijoje atskirąjį želdyną ir sudaryti galimybę visuomenei pažinti bei naudoti kraštovaizdį, įrengti informacinius stendus apie augaliją ir gyvūniją pažintiniuose takuose bei rekonstruojamajame liepte, įrengti inkilus paukščiams, šikšnosparniams, įrengti vabzdžių namelius, įrengti užtvaras ir pralaidas saugiai varliagyvių migracijai, naikinti menkavertę augmeniją, sutvirtinti krantus, sodinti naujus medžius, įrengti pėsčiųjų taką grįstą skalda, atlikti tiltelio sutvarkymą įrengiant medinį pagrindą, įrengti priėjimą prie kranto bei medines pantonines prieplaukas, suoliukus ir šiukšliadėžes. Bus įsigyta ir įranga sutvarkytos teritorijos priežiūrai, planuojama įsigyti vejos pjovimo traktorių, šlaitų žoliapjovę, krūmapjovę, sniego pūstuvą. Projektu bus siekiama šių Veiksmų programos rodiklių: -Teritorijų, kuriose įgyvendintos kraštovaizdžio formavimo priemonės, plotas (rodiklio kodas R.N.091) - 5,66 ha; -Išsaugoti, sutvarkyti ar atkurti įvairaus teritorinio lygmens kraštovaizdžio arealai (P.S.338) - 1; (Lithuanian)
