The main problem of the project is that every year fewer visitors visit museums — tourists, Lithuanians, schoolchildren and individual visitors. Due to the poor condition of the museum, there is a potential danger of more than 3000 exhibits. It is planned to solve this problem by complex arrangement of the building of the I. Simonaitytė museum. Modernisation of I. Simonaitytė Memorial Museum building will help to preserve unique exhibits of the museum. There will be an opportunity to develop new cultural, social or educational activities, organise meetings, excursions, introduce people of all ages to the culture and history of Lithuania Minor, fostering the writer’s creative heritage. After the implementation of the project, it is planned to organise creative camps, together with the community of Priekule, to organise events offering to join the old local traditions of knowledge, revitalisation and presentation. Pagrindinė projekto problema - kasmet muziejų aplanko vis mažiau lankytojų – turistų, lietuvininkų, moksleivių ir atskirų lankytojų. Dėl muziejaus prastos būklės yra potencialus pavojus daugiau nei 3000 eksponatų. Šią problemą planuojama spręsti kompleksiškai sutvarkant I. Simonaitytės muziejaus pastatą. I. Simonaitytės memorialinio muziejaus pastato modernizacija padės išsaugoti unikalius muziejaus eksponatus. Atsiras galimybė plėtoti naujas kultūrines, socialines ar edukacines veiklas, organizuoti susitikimus, ekskursijas, supažindinant įvairaus amžiaus žmones su Mažosios Lietuvos krašto kultūra ir istorija, puoselėjant rašytojos kūrybinį palikimą. Įgyvendinus projektą planuojama rengti kūrybines stovyklas, kartu su Priekulės miesto bendruomene, kultūros centru organizuoti renginius, siūlančius prisijungti prie senųjų vietos tradicijų pažinimo, atgaivinimo ir pristatymo.
