„Utenos alus“ darykla – viena didžiausių Baltijos šalyse alaus darykla. Per pastarąjį dešimtmetį į gamybos plėtrą ir modernizavimą investuota daugiau kaip 115 mln. EUR. Projektas „AEI sprendinių diegimas Utenos alaus darykloje“ nuoseklios įmonės strategijos skatinti socialiai atsakingas investicijas į energetinio efektyvumo bei atsinaujinančios energetikos sritis dalis. Energijos vartojimo efektyvumo didinimas įvairiuose sektoriuose yra vienas iš Lietuvos strateginių tikslų, nustatytų Nacionalinėje energetikos strategijoje. Siekis prisidėti prie nacionalinių energijos vartojimo efektyvumo didinimo tikslų įgyvendinimo ir didelės išlaidos el. energijai gamybos proceso metu paskatino UAB „ŠVYTURYS-UTENOS ALUS“ inicijuoti 1 MW galios saulės fotovoltinės elektrinės diegimą Utenos alaus darykloje. Įgyvendinus šį projektą įmonė sumažins gamybos proceso metu patiriamas sąnaudas el. energijai bei aplinkai daromą žalą. (Lithuanian)

“Utenos alus” brewery is one of the largest breweries in the Baltic States. Over the last decade more than EUR 115 million have been invested in the development and modernisation of production. Project “Deployment of RES solutions at Utena brewery” part of the company’s consistent strategy to promote socially responsible investments in the fields of energy efficiency and renewable energy. Improving energy efficiency in various sectors is one of Lithuania’s strategic objectives set out in the National Energy Strategy. The aim to contribute to the achievement of national energy efficiency targets and the high cost of e-energy during the production process prompted UAB “Švyturys-UTENOS ALUS” to initiate the installation of a 1 MW solar photovoltaic power plant at the Utena brewery. After the implementation of this project, the company will reduce the cost of e-energy and environmental damage during the production process. (English)
