Projekto uždavinys - didinti centralizuoto vandens tiekimo ir nuotekų tvarkymo paslaugų prieinamumą (visuotinumą), siekti užtikrinti gyventojams kokybišką geriamojo vandens tiekimą ir nuotekų tvarkymą, įgyvendinant ES nuotekų direktyvos 91/271/EEB reikalavimus nuotekų išvalymui, sumažinti dirvožemio ir gruntinio vandens taršą bei požeminio vandens išteklių taršos riziką projekto teritorijoje, išplečiant vandentvarkos paslaugas gaunančių gyventojų skaičių ir pagerinti projekto teritorijoje teikiamų vandentvarkos paslaugų kokybę. Projekte numatoma lygiagrečiai nutiesti 4,6 km nuotekų ir 4,32 km vandentiekio tinklų Šilalės rajono Pajūrio miestelyje, sudarant galimybę prie viešojo vandens tiekimo prisijungti 104 būstams (280 gyv.), prie nuotekų šalinimo sistemos - 110 būstų (297 gyv.), rekonstruoti 0,1675 km vandentiekio tinklų bei 1,229 km nuotekų tinklų. The objective of the project is to increase the availability (universality) of centralised water supply and wastewater management services, to seek to ensure quality drinking water supply and wastewater management for the population, to implement the requirements of the EU Waste Water Directive 91/271/EEC for wastewater treatment, to reduce soil and groundwater pollution and the risk of pollution of groundwater resources in the project area, by extending the number of people receiving water management services and improving the quality of water management services provided in the project area. The project provides for the parallel construction of 4.6 km of waste water and 4.32 km of water supply networks in Šilalė district, allowing the connection to the public water supply for 104 dwellings (280 inhabitants), 110 dwellings (297 inhabitants), reconstruction of 0.1675 km of water supply networks and 1.229 km of sewage networks.
