The grant project will work to improve the promotion of a culture of learning and improvement. The main focus is on adapting the organisation of work in dialogue with employees. This under the direction of an external consultant. In addition to improving the organisation of work, this project stimulates the sustainable employability of employees and contributes to the work pleasure. By implementing an approach based on the principles of Lean, Pento aims to achieve, among other things, the following results: • Realise continuous learning and improvement culture in which employees continuously proactively reflect on opportunities for improvement in their own organisation of work • Increase employee engagement • A learning culture from which all current, but also new employees can benefit; • Promoting competent, motivated and productive working at the service of our customers. At the heart of working towards a continuous learning and improvement culture is to adapt the organisation of the work in dialogue with the employees. Lean’s principles help by giving employees the opportunity and encouraging them to continue to develop each day (learning). This is done through teams of employees from the operational organisation. These employees learn to look at their current way of working and where there are potential bottlenecks in them. The use of the ideas, knowledge and experience of these employees creates a culture of learning and improvement and increases the involvement of employees. After the implementation of the grant project, the staff will have tools to apply the learned to other parts of their work. This creates a culture of continuous improvement in which Pento’s employees remain sustainable and the continuity of the organisation is ensured. (English)

(Dutch)
