Smits Control Engineering is a technical production company, member of the metal union. The company started 20 years ago by the director Ad Smits and grew from a one-man business to the current 12 employees. Electrical control cabinets are being built. Smits Besturingstechniek is een technisch productiebedrijf, lid van de metaal unie. Het bedrijf is 20 jaar geleden door de directeur Ad Smits opgestart en uitgegroeid van een éénmanszaak tot de huidige 12 medewerkers. Er worden elektrotechnische besturingskasten gebouwd. Naast de montage en installatie van besturingskasten, is er ook een engineering afdeling waar maatoplossingen (ontwerp en software aansturing) voor klanten worden ontwikkeld. De medewerkers hebben handvatten nodig om hun activiteiten, planning en prioriteiten beter te kunnen managen voor zichzelf en onderling, zodat men irritaties kan wegwerken. De adviseur dient hiervoor eerst met alle werknemers interviews af te leggen waarbij hij de onderlinge verhoudingen, kennis en competenties kan blootleggen. Aan de hand daarvan maakt de adviseur een plan voor het creëren van een werksituatie waarin prioriteiten en planningen gezamenlijk kunnen worden gemaakt. Vervolgens zorgt de implementatie van het advies voor het verminderen van de stress voor het personeel en moet dat ook leiden tot een beter gespreide werkdruk en vermindering van de daarbij behorende klachten.
