Gemeenten hebben de resolutie ondertekend voor Informatieveiligheid. Ter ondersteuning voor gemeenten is een Baseline Informatiebeveiliging Gemeenten (BIG) opgesteld door de IBD. In deze BIG zijn (beheers)maatregelen opgenomen t.b.v. de informatiebeveiliging. Vier van deze beheersmaatregelen refereren aan het iBewust maken van de medewerkers in de organisatie. Uit onderzoek blijkt echter dat bij minimaal 50% van de gevallen van cybercrime schade is ontstaan als gevolg van menselijk handelen. Daarom is een van de belangrijkste onderwerpen bij informatieveiligheid: iBewustzijn en borging. Als middel hiervoor wordt de leercyclus ingericht. De leercirkel is per organisatie verschillend. Afhankelijk van het bewustzijnsniveau worden intakegesprekken gevoerd, een iBewustzijnplan geschreven, een organisatiescan vooraf uitgevoerd en/of achteraf (toets). De activiteiten worden ingezet volgens de leercyclus zoals de Demingcirkel. Deze beschrijft vier activiteiten die op alle verbeteringen in organisaties van toepassing zijn. De vier activiteiten zorgen voor een betere kwaliteit. Het cyclische karakter garandeert dat de kwaliteitsverbetering continu onder de aandacht is. Op deze manier is elke medewerker in staat om zijn eigen werkwijze te beoordelen en te verbeteren en veilig te werken. De leercultuur in de organisatie wordt gestimuleerd. (Dutch)

Therefore, one of the most important issues in information security is: iConsciousness and assurance. As a means of this, the learning cycle is organised. The learning circle is different from one organisation to another. Depending on the level of awareness, intake interviews are conducted, an iBewareness plan is written, an organisation can be performed in advance and/or afterwards (test). The activities are used according to the learning cycle such as the Deming Circle. It describes four activities that apply to all improvements in organisations. The four activities ensure a better quality. The cyclical nature ensures that the quality improvement is continuously under the attention. In this way, each employee is able to assess and improve his own way of working and to work safely. The learning culture in the organisation is stimulated. (English)
