MEMIC is a department within Maastricht University (UM) and part of the Faculty of Health, Medicine &Amp; Life Sciences (FHML) and is involved in facilitating data and information management for scientific research. MEMIC supports the researcher in the collection of data, data cleaning and statistical analysis. The environment of MEMIC, with 26 employees with different educational and age backgrounds, is rapidly changing due to technical developments and regulatory changes. Because of her attachment to Maastricht University, the applicant is obliged to assess and reward her staff on the basis of the University Function Order System (UFO). However, this rigid 2003 framework does not (any longer) fit in with the current dynamic world and, moreover, focuses on retrospective assessment rather than development and forward-looking talent management that MEMIC wants to go. The organisation has asked for a talent management tool that should lead to the better development and use of the competences of its own employees, in order to increase the performance of the organisation and to keep the employees sustainably employable. The challenge here is to eventually reduce the results of the envisaged instrument to an assessment according to the UFO. In order to successfully implement the intended development-oriented talent management tool, MEMIC intends to use De Coachtrain to guide them in the implementation. (English) | |||||||||||||||
