Property / summary

Merem Bezorgcentrum (www.merem.nl) offers children, young people and adults access to specialised rehabilitation and treatment of chronic (long) diseases. Merem is also specialised in the treatment of children with severe overweight (morbid obesity) and diabetes (in Hilversum). Changes in the care domain (customer’s own direction and self-reliance) lead to aggravation of care. Merem notes that it is a challenge for the employees to come along and is now planning to carry out a project to promote the sustainable employability of its employees. In the spirit of self-organisation and self-management, they should organise the work from their own strength and, with more team responsibility, should be able to exert more influence on their own work execution. To remain sustainable now and in the future, Merem sees the solution in a working environment, in which employees can take more ownership for their own professional development. In order to facilitate this, Merem wants to enable employees to: — in a flexible working culture with greater responsibility and confidence to influence their tasks in the organisation — to develop knowledge and skills in a supportive learning culture and thereby stimulate internal mobility — to direct the teams and employees in the use of knowledge, talents and competences, because the route chosen should not be accompanied by experienced workload and stress. This would have a negative impact on employability. An external advisor who, together with our employees, carries out the following activities: — analysis to collect, assess and obtain advice from employees — guidance to staff in implementing the advice with team/dialogue/implementation sessions, 1-on-1 guidance in practice. Target group: healthcare professionals. (English)

Doelgroep: zorgprofessionals. (Dutch)
