Etableringstriss OHM is a collaboration project between Oskarshamn, Högsby and Mönsterås municipalities. The project's achievements and activities will support and motivate the target group of newly arrived immigrants, non- european immigrants to get closer to the labor market, studies, employment, self-sufficiency and participation in society. On the basis of the individual's qualifications, educational background own needs as well as those of society, establishing Triss OHM begins and continues where ordinary establishment efforts have not achieved their goals. The target group will receive skills development and tools for empowerment and self-knowledge, more thorough civic orientation, continued training and development in the Swedish language, digital participation and practical computer knowledge as well as elective courses with practical focus. Through collaboration between our three municipalities, Etableringstriss OHM will also be a testbed to see how the Swedish Employment Service's new matching service KROM, Kundurval, Rusta Och Matcha, can be matched with a municipality's achievemnts to bring individuals in the target group of newcomers closer to the labor market and self-sufficiency - before KROM will be introduced in every municipality and labor market regions. The target group will be included in the project for 16-20 weeks with an internship period during the last part. Activities must be permeated by equality, non-discrimination and accessibility. Group composition will be at least 60% women and 40% men. The preconditions and needs of newly arrived female immigrants will have a major impact on the choice of methods and tools when it comes to activities. Etableringstriss OHM will work with patriarchal structures and honor culture problems from a solution-focused perspective. Etableringstriss OHM will create better preconditions for internships for the target group at workplaces within municipalities and country council’s areas, as well as within the private business sector. This is achieved in cooperation with employers and workplaces to develop routines, conditions and intentions to receive more trainees. The project will offer employers, workplaces and mentors intercultural competence development, tools for complementary communication such as image support and language services. Etableringstriss OHM will collaborate with the networks of local business, HR and recruitment functions that operate in the municipalities. This is to create a common and more favorable platform which means that the target group is equipped with the skills that our local workplaces need and also that workplaces are equipped with tools for communication and reception to integrate more individuals from the target group.
