The goal is to develop and perform a flexible form of lifelong learning that meet the needs of both the health care sector and that of the health industry and stimulate interaction with. The education is in the form of e-learning, where geographical barriers are eliminated and learning can be self paced. In addition, a certification will be developed in order to highlight the skill requirements needed within the cross-sectoral work area. By creating a dynamic and sustainable platform where society actors can interact and act, learning can be the driving force for development of the sector in the Northern Region. The project is expected to increase diversity in the workplace, strengthening and developing specific skills, and to stimulate dialogue and collaboration between stakeholders in public administration, educational institutions and industry, and eventually improve public health.
