Property / summary

In the project, Pento’s employees will work independently in practice, using an approach developed by an external consultant, to improve the organisation of the work. By implementing the measures of the external advisor, Pento aims to achieve the following results: — the successful results achieved during the implementation of lean management in 2016 can be used to increase the learning capacity of Pento’s other locations, departments and employees. — increase employee engagement and pleasure by proactively applying their ideas, knowledge and experience to improve the organisation of work. — realise a continuous culture of improvement in which employees continue to proactively think about the possibilities for improvement in their own organisation of work. — creating a learning culture from which all current, but also new employees can benefit. — the promotion of competent, motivated and productive works for the services of the clients. — improving cooperation between staff and departments. The 2016 project showed that working to continuously improve the organisation of the work has many positive results. For employees and therefore also for clients. Pento sees that waiting lists reduce and therefore the workload for employees. It is visible that the work pleasure of employees is increasing. It is important to translate this approach to the rest of the organisation. (English)

(Dutch)
