Property / summary

TUI Nederland wants to be the most attractive employer in the Dutch travel industry for attracting and retaining talent. The Colleagues pillar indicates that TUI Nederland is involved in its current and future employees and society in which the group strives for a respectful, safe, healthy, stimulating and challenging working environment for its employees. No other company in the travel world has so many different jobs under one roof. One thing has all the jobs in TUI in common: we are a leading company and with over 2,800 employees in the Netherlands we are the largest travel organisation in the Netherlands, full of ambition and with all kinds of opportunities for the employees to develop. In 2016, Tui submitted an application to the ESF. With this project we have been able to make an initial inventory of a number of ambitions. With the results of this project, the company will also remain relevant in the future. From the various studies, the first insights and improvement plans have been mapped. This project will now be followed up. With the results of this project, we want to support our employees in improving sustainable employability by recognising non-company-specific knowledge and skills and stimulating a positive learning environment. Such knowledge and skills are needed to realise the development points within the sustainable perspective. Ultimately, this project leads to more engagement and loyalty of our employees. Being able to “binding and buoy” has a positive impact on knowledge, development and engagement of our employees and loyalty to our customers. Satisfied and loyal employees also continue to work for longer with our organisation. We therefore consider it essential to invest in employability of our staff, so that the company becomes more effective and flexible. (English)

(Dutch)
