Brouwers/EKW is an audit firm. Often returned by our employees, ‘my work is top sport’. We are going to make the translation of the top athlete to the employee with self-restriction in order to create a situation of sustainable employability and reduce the risks of absenteeism. Our vision is to create a balance between loadability and (work) load for our employees, with an eye for energy and pleasure. Also in the light that working, both physically and mentally, requires a lot of people. In recent years, our organisation has focused attention on the subject of absenteeism among the employees. However, the steps taken have not yet been sufficient to make the vision of failure on the one hand fully part of the culture of Brouwers/EKW. A reactive approach no longer fits with the vision of Brouwers/EKW and the employee’s obligation to remain sustainable. Reactively needs to be converted into joint pro activity. By directly involving the employees in this process, they are given the opportunity to get started, which will have a positive effect on the awareness of their own influence and ownership about their own health, employability and vitality within and outside the organisation with the aim of achieving a healthy and sustainable working environment. The employee receives advice and practical tips. Under the guidance of the external experts, the results are weighted, assessed and fed back to the individual staff at individual level as well as to the organisation at group level. Through a health survey, we offer information and increase knowledge of employees in this field, so that we expect awareness to be increased, and we also steer a change in behaviour in this area, by placing these topics in a recurring evaluation and discussion cycle. Brouwers/EKW is een accountantsorganisatie. Vaak wordt teruggegeven door onze medewerkers, ‘mijn werk is topsport’. Wij gaan de vertaalslag maken van de topsporter naar de werknemer met zelfregie om zo een situatie te creëren van duurzame inzetbaarheid en verkleinen van de risico’s op verzuim. Onze visie is het creëren van een balans tussen belastbaarheid en (werk)belasting voor onze medewerkers, waarbij oog is voor energie en plezier. Ook in het licht dat het werken, zowel fysiek als mentaal, veel van mensen vraagt. Binnen onze organisatie is de laatste jaren gericht aandacht geweest voor het onderwerp verzuim bij de medewerkers. Echter de genomen stappen zijn nog niet voldoende geweest om de visie op verzuim enerzijds al volledig onderdeel te laten zijn van de cultuur van Brouwers/EKW. Een reactieve benadering past niet langer bij de visie van Brouwers/EKW en verplichting van de werknemer om duurzaam inzetbaar te blijven. Reactief moet worden omgezet naar gezamenlijke pro activiteit. Door de medewerkers direct in dit traject te betrekken wordt hen de mogelijkheid geboden hiermee aan de slag te gaan, wat een positief effect zal hebben op de bewustwording van eigen invloed en eigenaarschap over eigen gezondheid, inzetbaarheid en vitaliteit binnen en buiten de organisatie met als doel een gezond en duurzaam werkklimaat te realiseren. De medewerker krijgt advies en praktische tips. Onder begeleiding van de extern deskundigen worden de resultaten gewogen, beoordeeld en zowel aan de individuele medewerkers op individueel niveau als aan de organisatie op groepsniveau teruggekoppeld. Middels een gezondheidsonderzoek bieden we informatie aan en vergroten we kennis van medewerkers op dit gebied waardoor we verwachten dat de bewustwording wordt vergroot, daarnaast sturen we op een gedragsverandering op dit vlak, door deze onderwerpen onder te brengen in een terugkerende evaluatie- en gesprekscyclus .
