WZCO (https://wzco.nl/) provides support to people with a mild intellectual disability. Changes in the care domain (client’s own direction/self-reliance) require care support with focus on activating the client and shifting from ‘care for, to care that’. WZCO notes that the employees need support to come along with this and now wants to carry out a project to promote the sustainable employability of its employees. On the one hand, these employees should support clients from the direction and their own strength, while specific characteristics and questions of clients require direct and supply-oriented support. In addition, employees with more team responsibility need to work more self-managing and methodically. In order to remain sustainable now and in the future, WZCO sees the solution in a working environment, in which employees can take more ownership for their own professional development. In order to facilitate this, WZCO aims to enable employees to: — in a flexible working culture with greater responsibility and confidence to influence their tasks in the organisation — in the exploitation of knowledge, talents and competences Healthy and Safe working because the chosen route should not be accompanied by experienced workload and stress. This would have a negative impact on employability. An external advisor who, together with our employees, carries out the following activities: — analysis to collect, assess and obtain advice from employees — guidance to staff in implementing the advice with team/dialogue/implementation sessions, 1-on-1 guidance in practice. Target group: healthcare professionals (supervisors, coordinators, managers). (English)

(Dutch)
