Swinnen Meat opgericht door Jos Swinnen is een bedrijf met zo’n 75FTE. Omdat Swinnen Meat niet meer in de bestemming van de wijk past, wil de gemeente dat Swinnen Meat gaat verhuizen. Tijdens dit ESF-di traject zal Swinnen Meat intrekken op een nieuwe locatie wat een grote impact zal hebben op de medewerkers: alles inclusief de werkplekken zal opnieuw worden ingericht. De medewerkers staan momenteel al onder grote werkdruk en deze zal door de verhuizing alleen maar verder toenemen, wat veilig werken niet ten goede komt en de bereidheid tot kennis delen met de nieuwe medewerkers vermindert. Daarnaast is de oprichter ook van plan (na de verhuizing) om een stap terug te doen en het stokje aan zijn zoons over te dragen. Zij wensen een andere manier van management te introduceren, wat kan ook weer tot meer onrust leidt onder de werknemers. Om de onrust en werkstress te verminderen wenst Swinnen Meat met behulp van een onafhankelijke adviseur gezond en veilig werken onder de werknemers te bevorderen, en een leercultuur te bevorderen.
