The project leads to Sormac BV having developed a clear vision of (signals of) workload and translated them together with employees into sustainable vitality policy with a corresponding roadmap for the coming years. Measures are closely in line with Sormac’s overarching human resources policy, which focuses on health, involvement, active learning, prevention of absenteeism and boosting performance. (English)

    Sormac BV ontwikkelt en produceert machine voor de groente verwerkende industrie en behoort in deze branche tot de wereldtop. In de onderneming werken ruim 70 medewerkers. Doorlopende technische innovatie en duurzame arbeidsrelaties zijn belangrijk voor het succes van de onderneming. Sormac is sterk groeiend een er is sprak van krapte op de arbeidsmarkt in een toenemend aantal functies en specialisaties. Daarnaast wordt geconstateerd dat medewerkers met veel veranderingen in het werk te maken krijgen. Technische ontwikkelingen gaan snel en van medewerkers wordt steeds meer flexibiliteit gevraagd met betrekking tot de inzet van vaardigheden en het zorg dragen voor samenwerking, afstemming en klanttevredenheid. Signalen over een toename van de stressklachten en vermindering van het werkplezier nemen toe. Daarbij geven medewerkers ook aan meer behoefte te hebben aan regelvermogen en zeggenschap over de planning van eigen werkzaamheden. Met het project 'ESF Gezonde Werkdruk" wil Sormac bepalende factoren voor werkdruk en werkplezier binnen Sormac goed in beeld brengen en passende maatregelen nemen om werkdruk te verminderen en het werkplezier te verhogen. Relevante indicatoren worden in beeld gebracht en bespreekbaar gemaakt met medewerkers. Daarnaast worden een aantal praktische verbetertools geïmplementeerd in de onderneming. Nadrukkelijk wordt aandacht besteed aan de persoonlijke beleving van werkdruk en werkstress van medewerkers. In diverse onderzoeken blijkt deze immers van grote invloed te zijn op werkstress en de effectiviteit van interventies. Het project leidt ertoe dat Sormac BV een heldere visie heeft ontwikkeld op (signalen van) werkdruk en deze samen met medewerkers heeft vertaald naar duurzaam vitaliteitsbeleid met een bijbehorend stappenplan voor de komende jaren. Maatregelen sluiten daarbij nauw aan op het overkoepelend personeelsbeleid van Sormac waarin gezondheid, betrokkenheid, werkend leren, voorkomen van verzuim en het stimuleren van prestaties centraal staan.
