Property / summary

Monsdal: A great inclusive place to work Monsdal is an all-round multidisciplinary green supply company, active in construction, renovation and maintenance of all forms of greenery and associated projects. The 450 employees employed at Monsdal have a distance from the labour market (training level below MBO-2). With financial support from the ESF, Monsdal can work on the sustainable employability of these employees, so that they can now and in the future be healthy, motivated, competent and productive. Not insignificant, because both the nature of the low-skilled work (e.g. high physical stress, few control possibilities) and the work context and priorities of these employees (e.g. poor health, limited participation in training) make their employability vulnerable. This project will start to gain insight into the current situation with regard to the sustainable employability of employees, thus making it clear which buttons need to be turned to give hands and feet to the ‘sustainable personnel policy’. The final result is an advice with accompanying implementation plan to increase sustainable employability. Support is crucial for a successful approach. Therefore, an approach with direct involvement of employees has been chosen by allowing them to participate in a Sustainable Employability Scan and to actively help them formulate solutions through working groups. Both the employer and employees become aware of the usefulness and need for sustainable employability and of the fact that each has a clear (own) responsibility in this regard. (English)
