The learning VO. Sustainable improvement of school quality.Lentiz Vmbo Maassluis is a school for vmbo in Maassluis. The aim of the project is to promote a sustainable commitment and a learning attitude of teachers and other staff in the school. With their participation in learning teams, teachers in school take responsibility to improve the quality of education themselves. This ownership on development hemas will reduce the stress of teachers, in what should be done in the teacher’s day-to-day practice, and lead to a sustainable commitment. The development hemas of the school for future-proof school are the themes of the development team. Cooperation between teachers and the MT will be promoted. The MT together with the teachers determine the priorities for the development hemas for the school. These development hemas are developed in sub-projects. In the implementation of the sub-projects, teachers and the MT work together. Working in teams aims to bring a learning culture into the school. By simultaneously framing the development hemas in projects, the school learns to give guidance to learning and streamline implementation. With the trajectory, we aim to organise the change processes in a clear and structured way. A plan of action (implementation plan) is written that is supported and agreed by the team. At the same time, we aim to establish a strong management team with clear responsibilities, tasks and powers. Management is supported in planning and securing the development hemas. The MT knows how to prioritise, dose, treat and plan the change processes. In the daily work of the MT, this will help to steer processes and not to lapse in the daily control work. In doing so, we want to achieve the sustainable commitment of teachers and MT and promote a learning attitude. (English)

(Dutch)
